My primary source of information about Alzheimer’s came from the Alzheimer’s Association website. You can probably find almost anything you’d like to know there.
I visited the page about the Stages of Alzheimer’s many times through the course of Dad’s illness and included information from this page in Where Memories Meet.
I also looked at Risk Factors.
One feature of the Alzheimer’s Association website that I particularly liked, and used early in Dad’s diagnosis, is the Message Boards page.
You can put in your location and find information specific to where you live. There is information about care providers and health care professionals, education, a helpline and support groups.
They also have a Research Updates page.
It is really a comprehensive site packed full of information. If you are interested in learning more about Alzheimer’s I would start here – Alzheimer’s Association.
